Rarely found in the United States, the Nissan Skyline is a Japanese sports automobile with tons of history. Dating back 45 years, the Nissan Skyline has received a bunch of awards & has earned the nickname “Godzilla.” While it’s far from being the monster machine that it’s nickname implies, this Japanese original is larger than life.
After an absence in production for ten years, Nissan said that it would release a new GT-R Skyline model in 1989. It was set to compete in the Japan Touring automobile Group A racing series & lead the field in an undefeated first season. For the next 5 years, the GT-R Nissan Skyline was awarded the Japan Touring automobile Group A championship.
In 1994, in honor of it’s amazing achievements, the Nissan Skyline was given it’s own series, which was called the Japan GT automobile series. For the years ahead, the Nissan Skyline proved to be a dominating force in Japanese racing. Ultimately, there was rarely a Skyline GT-R made to comply with standards set forth by the United States. However, Motorex imports & modifies the Nissan Skyline GT-R in order to meet requirements so that the cars may be sold in the united states.
The Nissan Skyline automobiles are popular among youngsters, as well. Ok, so maybe they don’t have a license to drive, but they can certainly burn some rubber on video games & that’s exactly what they are doing. Throughout the years, racing video games have become popular among children of all ages – both young & elderly.
The Nissan Skyline has made a apperence in numerous video games after being recognized for it’s speed & sleek sporty design. Along those same lines, the Nissan Skyline has been recognized in many of of the biggest motion pictures to feature a racing theme. Clearly, the motto for these cars are outlined in their sleek design & sports automobile appearance.
The Nissan Skyline is an mid-size automobile, which is originally manufactured in Japan before being exported to other countries. it is sold as either a coupe or sedan style automobile and has been produced, in various models, since the 1950s. In 2008, the next generation of Nissan Skyline GT-R automobiles may be sold in the United States. Until that time, these luxury style sports cars can be converted to local standards by various manufacturers who agree to sale the automobiles. Only time will tell what the Nissan Skyline has in store but, with its rich racing history, you can bet they will race out of stock.

If you are thinking about buying a new vehicle here are 5 of the most compelling reasons to buy a used car rather than a new car.
1. Used Cars Cost Less
Since the point of a car is to get your from here to there, there is no reason to pay more for something that fundamentally will do the same thing. If you are on a budget look at what you need not what you want and you will realize that a new car is a mostly a status symbol.
2. Used Cars Hold Their Value Better
A car, used or new, will depreciate the older it is and the more it is used. However the minute you drive a new car of the lot it loses a significant portion of its value. This means if you go to sell your new car you will have already lost thousands of dollars. On the other hand, if you buy used, when you go to sell your car you will be able to get most of what you paid for it back.
3. Used Cars Are Greener
It takes a lot of resources and energy to produce a new vehicle. Buying used does not cause any additional harm to the environment. Remember that next time someone smugly tells you they are looking at the new Prius.
4. Lower Insurance Premiums for Used Car Owners
Since used cars are generally far less expensive than new cars their monthly insurance premiums are far less as well. Saving on insurance costs each month can really add up. Over the course of the year if you saved $50 dollars a month on insurance you would save $600 dollars.
5. Availability Of OEM Parts
After about 5 years most of the contracts car-makers have with part manufacturers what prevent them from selling the same parts they make for the car companies without the company label at deep discounts. That means that if you have a used car older than 5 years chances are if you need to replace a part it will be available form an OEM manufacturer for significant less than if you got it from a dealer.

If you have experienced a car crash and have suffered physical injuries as a result of someone else’s fault, you are permitted to get compensated for the loss you have faced and the suffering you have been through. For your injuries, there are some particular things for which you would be covered in terms of compensation. It is your legal and civil right that you get reimbursement for the injury that you have been put on to suffer due to someone else’s fault and negligent behaviour.
The insurance company would consider you claim and would pay the medical expenses, along with the future medical expenses , provided the nature of injury that would require medical care for a prolonged period of time.
You are also likely to be remunerated for the pain and suffering that you are going through after the occurrence of the injury. In cases such as these, there is a jury that looks into the matter and the nature of the injury and the severity of the pain. Other things that may be compensated for accordingly are the lost wages, mental distress, and loss of earning capacity, if the injury was too severe.
Some of the most ordinary types of injuries that one suffers upon experiencing a car crash are whiplash, brain and head shock, spinal cord injury, back injury and knee break. There are also many other kinds of injuries that can occur. The kind of compensation that one can anticipate for the injuries depends upon the kind of wound and the time it is going to take for the wound to recover.
Whiplashes are the injuries that are caused as an outcome of a vicious joggle during the accident. Whiplashes, hence, are the most frequent injuries. Recovery from whiplashes is fairly swift and the lesion is not very crucial. The kind of injuries that are much more serious and life threatening during car wrecks are injuries to the head and brain, neck and those to the spine.
There is also the probability that you might chink a bone during a car crash, for which the remedial period would be long and the compensation would have to be greater. The totality of damages that you get for a range of injuries depends upon the nature of the lesion and also on the healing period. The longer the remedial period, the greater the compensation sum would be.
As whiplashes are persistent during a car crash, the damages might be granted for such harm with a bit of humiliation involved because they happen in almost all accidents. Hence it is the revitalisation period from the whiplash that is kept in view while considering compensation. In addition, the estimate of discomfort and suffering one has to go through is also taken into account.
After being involved in an accident, it is important that you get examined by a general practitioner and also consult your legal representative as soon as possible to ensure claim for the injury that you have suffered.

When it’s time for a different vehicle and budget is a big deal, you are most likely in the market for a used car. It’s a good idea to think ahead and investigate your options. Don’t make your purchase until you carefully consider what is available and how these meet your needs. A used car is a major investment, so before you buy you should figure out exactly what kind of car you need for the kind of driving you do.
Think about the type of car you want. Used cars are available in almost any model you like. This includes sports cars, family cars, SUVs, and trucks.
Important considerations are the mechanical and cosmetic condition. To ensure you are purchasing a reliable vehicle it is essential that you assess the mechanical condition during a test drive. Don’t forget to check the mileage and service history. Cosmetic condition includes the quality and durability of the exterior pain, rust, dents or other damage, and tire wear. Pay attention to what condition the interior is in, as well. You’ll want to make sure the air conditioning and stereo work. Also check the seat belts for signs of excessive wear.
Ultimately you have to consider the cost. Once you have determined your budget and have found cars in which you are interested check the Kelly Blue Book or online for fair market value.
By this point, you know what cars to look for and can consider how well these cars meet your needs. You will also be able to compare the pros and cons of different cars by this time. Take a look at a local new car dealership; generally they have a used car division. Also check dealers dedicated completely to selling used cars.
Another way to find and buy a used car is through private sale, directly from the owner. There are also auctions and online sales. As you repeat the process, including your requirements, you’ll soon have a short list of vehicles from which to choose.
When it is time to buy, how do you determine where to buy? Private sellers may be more negotiable, but, as with online auctions it’s difficult to tell if you are being deceived. Experienced salespeople, on the other hand, may be able to help you work out conflicting needs, such as a fuel efficient vehicle large enough for the family. They may also have more to offer in terms of service and guarantees.

Next to your home, buying a new car of your own is probably the most expensive purchase you?ll ever make in your life. This may lead you to ask the question, ?how to buy a car??
It seems that the answer to this question may be very simple. Just go on down to your local car dealer, choose one that yyou can’t live without and shed some cash for the car?s down payment. It’s as simple as that! But hold on a minute things aren?t always as simple as they seem.
You should decide what type of car will meet the demands of the kind of lifestyle you lead. If you?re a frequent traveler, a vehicle that gets good fuel milage may be the most appropriate, if you?re a mother with children, a minivan or SUV may be better suited to you. Then you to make a choice between either hybrid, gasoline and diesel or electric cars. The options are many.
How the car will be used is the number one deciding factor. A contractor isn’t going to be happy with a sports car as his work vehicle, as fun as it may be! Buying a car isn?t always about the grandest and hottest model in town. Look at the features and how it’s going to meet your needs. This includes the cargo room, the electrics, some reliable additionals, the passenger space and the like. This way, you?re able to get the best of everything, from an eye catching model and design down to the hidden parts of your car.
Most models you will have a long list of optional equipment to choose from. Know your budget and don’t get sucked into the latest greatest gadget that you don’t really need. you can look at are electric windows, mirrors, sunroofs, audio and video some of the chioces you will have to make. These options always cost more money so you need to decide what you can afford and what you actually need, not want.
Formulate a plan for the exact model of the car and options you want. Go online and find out what the dealer pays for that exact car. If you plan of buying a small car but ended up buying a truck due to the expertise of the sales agent. Keep in mind, these sales people get paid based on sales they make, not how happy you are. You need to wise decisions in buying a car. Stick to what you want and go for it. And this means, neither a dealer nor an agent will ever make decisions for you.
Finally, emphasis should also be placed on safety. Driver?s airbags are becoming a more standard feature. These are inflatable cushions use to protect a driver from crashing against the dashboard should the car be involved in a collision. Look out also for passenger airbags and side airbags. So there you have it! Ways on how to buy a car has never been this easy; just make sure you have some real extra funds to purchase your dream car.

Selling a car in this bad economy can be a lot of work. If you want to have the best chance of making the sale, you need to use different kinds of advertising methods. These ways might include word of mouth, putting ads online, using print media advertising, putting up ads on grocery store boards, and even putting a sign on your car.
Once you have gotten the word out that your car is for sale you will need to decide on a price you are willing to take that is reasonable. No matter how many people you tell about your car, you will never make the sale if the price is too high. So, your steps to selling a car fast are to heavily advertise and price your car to sell.
Advertising online can be done through sites such as Craigslist and Ebay. Both of these sites get a lot of traffic and Craigslist especially, caters to local buyers. It has become much more common to sell almost anything online now and cars are no exception. If you want to have a real good chance of finding a buyer for your car, selling it online has become the best option to reach a lot of potential buyers.
The bad economy has made it difficult to sell any big-ticket item like a car. If you need to sell it quickly, the only way to do it might be to lower the price significantly. Right now people dont have the money to spend like they did a couple of years ago and you might have to just keep lowering the price until you find a buyer. If you do offer a good deal, sooner or later you will find a buyer.
If you dont want to deal with all the difficulties selling your own car, you can usually sell it to a dealer. Even if you are not buying a car from the dealer and using your car as a trade in, most dealers will still buy your car. The catch is that they will not give you as much as you could get for it on your own because they have to then resell it for a profit. That is why most people end up trying to sell their car themselves and dealing with the hassle.

The statistics on auto accidents on a worldwide scale is still on the rise today. Each year countless accidents are happening on a daily basis: they can be classified as auto, motorcycle, SUV, passenger vans, bus, truck, pedestrian, and even train-auto accidents. These accidents are often minor in nature, such as fender-benders, bumps and scratches, and an occasional broken light. Such accidents only need repairs and replacement of the damaged parts for a quick fix. Some cases may include horrible, disfiguring and life-altering events like broken bones, damaged ligaments, injured necks and spinal cords, busted kneecaps, and even death.
Although auto accidents nowadays is a common and accepted part of life, we tend to see these dire events as only capable of happening to others and not to us. We think that the countless terrible accidents we read in the newspapers and what we see on tv is viewed are just events that can only happen to other people–that is, until it happens to us. Practicing and observing good driving ethics will not guarantee anyone from exclusion to this common and daily occurrence.
Being in an auto accident isn’t a good situation to be at at any time whatsoever. For all parties involved, obtaining the services of a good auto accident attorney to settle legal matters is one of the first things to do. Because major auto accidents usually involve the life, limb, and property/s of others other than your own, there are bound to be certain circumstances that require the attention of an attorney . With your attorney, all legal remedies and actions with be taken of in the proper legal manner. With questions regarding compensation for damages to negotiation of settlements, he can readily and speedily broker any deal towards uncooperative insurance companies, and unfavorable responses from other involved parties.
Without the services of a legal adviser, you won’t know what legal remedies and course of actions you may need to take in order to pursue your legal rights for compensation or settlements. Without legal representation, you also won’t be able to defend yourself against any legal repercussions from the aggrieved parties that may pursue a legal case against you. As statute of limitations from state to state differs, and laws on auto accidents vary, an auto accident attorney can help you pursue your legal rights for just compensation.
Thanks to the internet, having to look for an experienced, trustworthy, and reliable auto accident attorney has never been easier. Just visit any website on attorney’s who specialize in this type of category, and surely you will find one suited to your needs.

Chevrolet is about to start the largest fuel cell technology test drive ever. According to the Chevrolet Website this major car company and parent General Motors has been reviewing applications for the 100 consumers in three major commuting markets that will be their real life test drivers for this extensive test. Some 100 lucky consumers will begin driving vehicles rated as using Zero Gas and having Zero Emissions for up to 50,000 miles.
This is the test we have been dreaming of – vehicles that use no gas and produce no noxious emissions! And these vehicles will be on the roads of the U.S. in New York, California, and Washington, D.C. The chosen consumers will drive this vehicle on their daily commutes and errands throughout these large metropolitan areas. The results from these test drives will provide answers for researchers refining fuel cell technology in future GM and Chevrolet vehicles.
The vehicle developed for this historic test is the Chevrolet Equinox equipped with Fuel Cell Technology. The EPA certified Hydrogen Powered Equinox Fuel Cell as a “Zero Emission Vehicle” (ZEV). This means it emits only water – no smoke coming out of this tailpipe! In fact, instead of a tailpipe, it has 4 water vapor outlets on it’s backside.
Fueling up is quick for these vehicles, taking about 5 minutes at the yet to be designated fueling locations. 3 fuel tanks storing up to 9 pounds of hydrogen at 10,000 PSI, will provide up to 200 miles of driving for these next-generation vehicles.
The Chevy Equinox Fuel Cell combines hydrogen and water to produce electricity, which powers the electric drive system for the Equinox. This is a fully functional “real world” vehicle. According to Chevrolet’s website, “Equinox Fuel Cell has been crash-tested and is designed to meet all applicable 2007 U.S. Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards. And you will enjoy the benefits of driver and front passenger air bags(2), the StabiliTrak Electronic Stability Control System, four-wheel antilock disc brakes with Traction Control, and OnStar.” In other words, it’s as safe to use as any vehicle on the road today, although it is a little heavier than it’s sister 6 cylinder gas powered Equinox.
General Motors is proud of this test, which is being billed as the “WORLD’S LARGEST FUEL CELL VEHICLE FLEET” in a recent news release at GM Media online. “GM is demonstrating its commitment to hydrogen fuel cells as the answer for taking the automobile out of the environmental debate and reducing our dependence on petroleum,” said Larry Burns in the news release. Burns is GM Vice President, Research & Development and Strategic Planning. “The Equinox Fuel Cell is powered by GM’s most advanced fuel cell propulsion system to date, and demonstrates an important milestone on our pathway to automotive-competitive fuel cell propulsion technology development,” he added.
More information can be found on Chevrolet’s website, where they have pictures and specs on this new vechicle. This test has been promoted for over a year by Chevrolet, with the first Hydrogen powered Equinox of the project already being delivered to the Army for a “non-tactical” functional test according to an article in September of 2006 on USAToday.com.
This is a major commitment by GM and Chevrolet. They are certainly stepping up to the table in the effort to bring this technology into the main stream. According to a news release at the 1006 Los Angeles Auto Show, Ed Peper, Chevrolet General Manager, said, “the fuel cell technology is seamlessly integrated into a uniquely styled crossover vehicle that is distinctively Chevrolet. The Equinox Fuel Cell joins Chevrolet’s family of advanced gas-saving and alternative fuel vehicles.”
Look for these test vehicles to start tooling down the roads of these metropolitan areas in September, 2007. Hopefully, they will pave the way for volume production of this already promising technology. In an article on the website ETA.co.uk an estimate of when this technology might be available for wider implementation(commercially viable) included the year 2010.

Truly, is there anything more beautiful out there than a fully restored, 1969 Chevy Camaro? Or how about a 1970 Pontiac GTO? Many of us stare enviously when we see a classic muscle car for sale, wishing we could have one of our own. For those who love these cars, whether they collect them, restore them, sell them, or just dream about them, few things are more exciting than finding a new place that offers classic muscle cars for sale.
The Internet is one such resource for muscle car enthusiasts. There are tons of websites out there, like oldcarscheap.com, that bring together owners who have classic muscle cars for sale, and buyers looking for these increasingly rare finds. Buyers, sellers, and even those of us who are still dreaming of restoring our first classic muscle car are drawn to these websites. Buyers can find the classic muscle cars for sale they’re looking for, sellers can get a fair price from a buyer who appreciates the value of the vehicle, and dreamers can keep an eye out for their first project car.
Buyers benefit from searching and buying online, because they have the advantage of being able to look for exactly the right classic muscle cars for sale. Some buyers know exactly what car they’re looking for, but just can’t find it. If they are searching locally, they can sometimes find other muscle cars, but not their dream car. Instead of hunting for their dream cars locally, and being frustrated with few options, buyers using the internet can find hundreds of classic muscle cars for sale. They can search for exactly the make, model, year, and condition they want, with a great chance of finding that elusive dream car — or maybe even something better that they hadn’t imagined yet.
Sellers benefit from offering their classic muscle cars for sale online, because they are able to broaden their potential buyer pool. Whether the car is a project car or a restored collector’s item, sellers are much more likely to find a buyer online who’s looking to purchase exactly what they’re offering.
In addition, sellers using online websites are able to ask for the type of money their cars are truly worth. Sellers who don’t use the Internet often must choose between sitting on their cars, or selling them for lower prices to the few local buyers interested.
No matter what role you play in the online marketplace — buyer, seller, or dreamer — the advantages the Internet offers with respect to classic muscle cars for sale are clear.

How can you save on car rentals? Where do you find coupons or promo codes? It is easy to find car rental coupons or deals online. You can 1. Go to the site of the car rental company, 2. go to one of the discount travel sites, or 3. go to a site such as Priceline where you can place a bid on a rental car.
Usually you will place a numerical code into a box that will calculate your discount, or just by following a link stating the discounted deal. You need to verify for yourself that your discount gets credited to your bill before you pay. This is an easy way to enjoy 10-30% off, get a free day with a weekly rental etc.
Travelocity and Expedia are two discount travel sites. They have agreements with the car rental companies to sell and market their services for a lesser fee. They pass this on to us, the consumers and we find them from clicking on a link somewhere promising us a discount.
What may be the easiest way to find car rental coupons and promo codes is through hundreds of independent smaller websites and blogs who have taken the time to research the best deals, -so you don’t have to! You just need to make sure that the deal is still valid. Some sites offer feedback where people add their experiences and success with the discount.
With all the constant promotions it would be not so smart to rent a car without taking advantage of the best deals available. Some of the discounts can be substantial and save you money, other discounts may move you up a couple of steps in style and comfort for the same fare.

Traveling by car might not be as fast as taking a plane, but its still the most common method of getting from Point A to Point B, even when long distances are involved. Its not always very comfortable or enjoyable to ride in a vehicle for long periods of time, no matter what your agenda is. Whether you are on a business trip or heading for a favorite vacation spot, here are some tips to make the trip a little easier.
Be prepared. While everyone hopes to have a safe trip, that isnt always the case. Youll want to have a membership with AAA and make sure that your car insurance covers everything that might occur on your trip, including another driver if you plan on switching off. This wont prevent problems with the vehicle, but it will certainly make things less stressful if you know everything is covered. Under the same category, be sure you have a car emergency kit on hand, as well as a spare tire.
Take breaks. Theres a good reason that rest stops exist. Take the time to stop and stretch your legs at least once every few hours. This will prevent cramping later on and will get the blood flowing, which helps you stay awake on those long, boring stretches.
Invest in a nicer seat. If you travel frequently in your car, youll really appreciate a nice cushy seat. There are many options on the market, from the common wooden bead seat covers to padded ones that your bones will thank you for after several hours of driving. While the driver usually needs the best seat since its not really possible to shift around while driving, your passengers will probably appreciate comfortable covers, as well.
Bring entertainment. Just because you are driving doesnt mean you cant enjoy stretching your mind at the same time. Music gets boring after a while, so consider bringing along some audio books or a cd of an interview or seminar youve been meaning to listen to. Some people even learn new languages while on long road trips. And if you have kids, a DVD is a must to keep bickering to a minimum.
Plan your stops. Theres nothing worse than hitting the point of exhaustion only to realize that there are no hotels for miles. By planning ahead and deciding where to stop for the night on each leg of your journey, youll have a much more pleasant trip and can schedule stops at points before you get too exhausted to continue driving.
Make sure you have enough time. Rushing to get to your destination will only result in stress, frustration and speeding tickets, so its really not recommended. If at all possible, plan to take your time getting there. 5-6 hours a day is usually plenty of time to spend in a vehicle, so if you plan for short days, youll be well-rested when you arrive.
Make a list before you leave. This is very useful in preventing such tragedies as auto insurance papers left sitting in a drawer at home or forgetting your presentation cd for a business meeting. Having a list will enable you to go down it quickly and double check that you have everything you need and you wont need to turn back shortly after pulling out of the driveway.
Traveling in a car can be rather tedious, particularly if you are going to be driving for several days. These tips will help make it less problematic and help you to really enjoy your trip, no matter where you are headed.

Just why was the horse trader always regarded with deep suspicion in the past. There was a good reason.
Well, this is the guy who would buy a lame horse and know how to fix it …. temporarily. Then, he would sell it as a sound animal and take the money and disappear. The horse, poor thing, would soon become lame again and the buyer would be stuck with an unusable animal.
The generic inheritor of the horse trader reputation is, of course, the Car Dealer.
Car Dealers know how to trick you in so many ways that it will make your head swim and your eyes water. You may even, if you are so inclined, swear a lot at them. But, that will probably be much, much too late. You will already have purchased the car for way too much money.
Now, not every dealer is this slippery and willing to do anything (almost) for a buck. But, those kind are out there in great numbers. How can you protect yourself from these wily, unscrupulous, into-your-wallet Car Dealers?
How to protect yourself? It is easy. Know the Tricks Yourself.
So, what are these underhanded, unknown tricks? Well, there are some 14 of them which might be said to be majors. They are listed here in plain words to help you with your automobile purchasing efforts.
1. Why “hiding your trade” until negotiating your new car is flat-out wrong – How the dealer can still pump the profits right back into your deal (and with a vengeance). He will be glad to get back at you, secretly.
2. How can you get the best financing rate that you qualify for? Dealerships usually up your true financing rate by 2-3 points. Find out how to get them working for you not against you.
3. The easiest way to get the most for your trade from a dealership – This alone can save $2000 or more when you’re dealing with a trade-in.
4. How the “no hassle pricing” system works, and how it sets you up to pay even more money – The price of the new car is only a tiny piece of the puzzle. See the other angles the dealer works in to re-coup the lost profits . . . and then some.
5. Save up to 56% on your new car accessories – This simple idea can add up to fast savings, while still getting manufacturer-quality accessories.
6. The truth about leases – See exactly how leases are calculated, and how their fancy terminology allows for even more profits to be packed in right under your nose.
7. If you like those pre-paid service coupons. You will think again after reading this . . . What is actually going on with pre-paid maintenance plans.
8. The persuasion tactics they use to push you onto colors, features, and sometimes even a whole different car that you normally wouldn’t want. Learn how to spot and overcome their sneaky tactics to push you to things you aren’t interested in.
9. How dealers stack the numbers to hide the true deal, leaving you comparing apples to oranges as you comparison shop. Discover how to see which dealer is really making you the best offer.
10. The absolute best day of the month to buy a car – When you know this you can save you thousands… even putting you well below the invoice.
11. How the “end of model year sale” is burying you in your new purchase – buyer beware!
12. “Tires For Life,” dealer-only “Lifetime Warranties,” and other common ploys. What’s really in it for them? Find out here.
13. What a “documentation fee” (doc fee)is actually? And, what YOU can do about it. Don’t take a dealer at his word – check this out, first.
14. What is meant when they say they’ll “pay off your trade” . . . Watch out for this sneaky tactic. It can create a cycle of becoming “upside down” in your car purchases for years to come.
You can be in Control of your Car Purchase. When you know what the dealer is about to do, you can anticipate it. Make your counter move or maybe just say NO.
For example, ” knowing how to get the best deal on accessories can save you a bundle ( #5 above). Plus all the 13 others

Here are some things that you should know first:
The Global Positioning System (GPS) is a global navigation that is based on satellites system. This system was developed by the United States Department of Defense and the US Air Force 50th Space Wing managed it. It is the only navigation satellite system functioning in the world today and its made up of 24-networked satellites placed in orbit. It works wherever with no subscription fees, 24 hours a day, no matter what the condition of the weather.
Satellite navigation dates back a lot longer than many people realize. The principles behind SatNav were first tested back in 1967, but it took nearly 30 years before the NavStar GPS System first began operation as a military application in the mid 1990s. Civilian use of GPS navigation was made available soon after the military launch, but the initial costs of using the system were very high, and required ongoing subscriptions to be paid. The first people who took advantage of GPS were pilots, and surveyors, who needed to be able to measure distances with pinpoint accuracy. In the early days , an affordable GPS auto navigation system was out of reach for the average car owner.
After years of operation of the GPS auto navigation system, the cost for the installment dropped reasonably making it more affordable for auto owners. Because of the lower cost of installing the GPS, people took advantage of this opportunity and made use of this in their travel planning, tracking of locations, and many other navigational purposes.
Never make a mistake that the auto navigation system it was only meant for people who travel extensively. Its not. Actually, it is for anyone who spends long hours in their vehicle driving. You may be interested in knowing how these navigation system devices can help you in a way you really need, especially when travelling. To make the most out of it, you should know what benefits it can give you and how the auto navigation system will suit your needs.
Here are some of the available auto navigations systems in the market:
1. Stand-alone auto navigation system Stand-alone navigation systems provide the most thorough and complete mapping utilities.
This stand-alone navigation system is able to give you clear verbal turn-by-turn directions without you being connected to any computers.
2. Multipurpose Handheld Navigation Devices.
Unlike the stand-alone system, this multi-purpose navigation device does not provide full detailed directions but it has other benefits not found in the former device.
3. PDA/PC/Laptop/Palm Based Systems
Using your laptop and other palm based devices you can navigate wherever you want when you turn them into a navigation system for your travel purposes.
Consider these 2 basic suggestions on how you can make your travel less time-consuming with the auto navigation system and GPS technology:
2. Keep track of restaurants, malls, or theatres. While you are in travel, there are some points that you might need to eat some or stop for a while to take rest. Doing these in a mall, theatre, or some restaurant is a great option.
Goodbye to the days when the one-hour-drive was multiplied into more number of driving hours because there was no direction to take. And not very long, gas tanks ran out of fumes and cars generally got stranded in the middle of unknown dusty roads.
The days of long hours of driving are now over and there is no need to spend so much time and money for gas and fuels just to reach your desired places. You can now save more through this auto navigation system and GPS technology.
Now, whether you are out for work or simply for vacation, traveling was never been this easy as you no longer need that massive atlas or the commercial tour guide and save you not only with fuel but also with time, money, and energy.

For people who don?t really own a lot of expensive stuff, their cars could be the most valuable property they could have. With this proper care should be needed especially in maintaining the car paint regardless of the car?s age. The car?s paint is the one that is first seen of your car, aside from that it is also a little expensive to replace or repair it so it is a must that we try to check the kinds of products that we use. When done properly, the car?s paint and luster will last longer.
Maintaining the car?s paint does not call for any special skill or complicated process. Just follow the simple yet very effective ways and you?ll surely be enjoying your car for years without spending too much. To get started, make sure that when washing your car, the proper tools should be used. The best material for cleaning the surface is a cotton or paint-safe microfiber washing mitt. When it comes to cleaning products, it is recommended that you choose something whose pH is balanced; a product that won?t strip off the paint?s wax. Combining your non-detergent cleaning product with a lubricant would help give a shiny and scratch-free finishing.
After cleaning your car, it is a must that you dry them to prevent water spots for some mineral would be deposited and would create unattractive spots on the car paint. To dry your car; a 100% cotton cloth and sheepskin chamois are the best materials to be used to achieve a great effect.
But what if after a rigid cleaning, you still aren?t satisfied with your car paint?s appearance? What if you still find some dirt on it? Would you head your way to a car wash shop? You don?t need to do that! If you wanted to eliminate those annoying residue you may use detailing clay with a lubricant is the best way to get rid of them but remember that it is not used to remove paint scratches.
Okay, your car is clean and no more traces of residue but wait, the paint still looks so dull! Worry not for a car polisher and rubber cleaners could help you get the luster you wanted but these materials may be abrasive so have a professional?s advise when you opt to use it.
And the most important thing of all is waxing especially if you just had a wax. Carnauba wax or paint sealant is two of the things you may use for waxing. Carnauba wax can give your car paint about two months shine and luster while paint sealants could last for like half a year.
So there, you?d definitely give your car paint longer luster, shine and of course longer life.

Like all painted things, car paint too begins to lose its sheen and gets discolored as the years go by. Wind, snow, heat and other forms of weathering, pollution, abrasions, bird droppings etc are reasons for your car to look old and weather-beaten. But if you are keen on restoring its lost luster and making it look presentable again, there are ways of doing it.
The first step to be taken is to get the car thoroughly cleaned. Wash it with soap if necessary and make sure that every nook and corner of the car is free from grime and dirt. Next is to scrape away the top oxidized layer of paint off the car, which can be done with the help of a foam compounding pad. Once you are through with this you will find a cloudy look on the surface of the car. To remove this haziness off the body, you must polish the car, but before you begin, you must ensure that the polish you are using is mild.
To get back a glossy look again, you must polish with a circular polisher and the white foam polishing pads can give you the best results. Give a finishing touch to the car by using an orbital polisher beginning slowly and then steadily increasing the pace. Take a small patch and gradually proceed ahead. If you want to paint your car you will need to put on a layer of primer.
Before you add a coat of paint to your car, you must work out how you are going to get about it. It is always advisable to use a spray gun to get the right texture of car paint if you want your car to look glossy and smooth. If you think you can manage to paint the car yourself, you will save the expenses that are incurred if you get it done by a professional. A standard spray gun with a pressure of 70psi can do a wonderful job but anything below that will give you a thick smudgy coat.
Many of the paint companies give instructions as to the kind of Spray gun that should be used for a particular paint, which can include a specific fluid tip and air cap. Hence, it is advisable that the spray gun be purchased from a paint shop only.
You must know the ratio of hardener or thinner that is required to be added to the paint you are planning to use. Once you have got the right proportion, you can pour it into the spray gun ready for use. Point the nozzle in the right direction and gently spray the coats until the desired effect is obtained.

High gas prices have become a normal occurrence today. We often have to shell out more and more money to get just as far as we were getting before.
Today, there is a solution to this problem called Half Water Half Gas. This system allows your car to run on both gas and water allowing you to save over 60% of your fuel costs.
This technology was apparently invented over 90 years ago but was never put into widespread use because the oil industry did not like it. This technology has become more available today due to the internet and better spread of information.
This system basically works by increasing gasoline efficiency by running a car on gasoline and water.
We see that it works fine by using the extra electricity that is generated by the battery to turn the water in oxygen and hydrogen. This is then run through the engine’s vacuum system to blend with the gas. Gas in normal cars doesn’t burn very efficiently so by adding water, you end up with a cleaner burn and also the result of not as much gas having been used. So, you are saved quite a bit of gas and in turn, quite a bit of money.
The technology to be able to make your car run on water and gas is surprisingly simple and anyone can install it. Even those people without any automobile experience can do it in about 30 minutes using hardware and tools that can be picked up at a hardware store.
If you are interested in picking up your own guide on installing this wonderful device to save you 60% and more of your fuel costs, then check out the Half Water Half Gas guide which features detailed instructions on how to install such a system and allow you to start saving more money on gasoline today.

Mike Feldman asked:
The 2008 new car models are rolling off the assembly lines and into your local new car dealer’s showroom. These cars are equipped with advanced electronics and over 70% of these new car models have Bluetooth technology built in. Most new car dealers offer window tinting as a pre-load or an aftermarket option to increase their ever slim margin. Rather than hire window tinters in-house they typically farm out your new car to a local tinter who actually performs the installation. The unsuspecting owner (you?)has little to no idea exactly what type of film was installed or whether the film has a warranty beyond what that finance guy tells you when you decide whether to get that extended warranty they like to push. Given your huge investment and the fact that you regularly use GPS and Cell phones in your ride every day,it is critical to take the tinting selection out of that new car dealer’s hands and place it in YOUR hands. FormulaOne High Performance Films offer new car drivers and drivers of any car (new or used) a unique technology choice. The Pinnacle Ceramic Films have zero interference with Bluetooth, GPS, Premium Satellite radio or radar detectors. These innovative films provide maximum heat rejection without adding a shiny finish to your ride. These Pinnacle Ceramic films come with a lifetime and transferable warranty against fade, bubbling, scratched and changing color and this warranty is always “No Fault.” Locating your nearest FormulaOne independent dealer is as easy as going to http://www.formulaone.com . Making YOUR OWN selection will take the mystery out of who is doing that tint job and let you select the perfect window film for you. You select the darkness (VLT) of the film YOU prefer. As a FormulaOne Dealer based in Tampa Bay, Advanced Film Solutions www.advancedfilmfl.com ,we have taken crafstmanship one step futher by utilizing Precision Cut software by CP Films to cut the precise fit for your vehicle. FormulaOne and Pinnacle offer the best film, always the smart choice for every ride. .new car or otherwise!

Guido Nussbaum asked:
Having your own car means being independant from others. You can reach places that you can’t reach with a bike, bus or train. There are a couple of decisions you have to make before buying a car: Do you want to buy a used or a new car? Do you want to pay cash, with a credit card or do you want to apply for an auto loan?
Buying a new car has many benefits, you can be sure to get a reliable ride and a good looking car. Maybe you are even able to purchase your dream car. With a good new car loan you can be sure to get the car of your dreams. These new car loans are approved very fast, in a matter of days. Then you can go with your check or credit card to a car dealer and buy the perfect car.
In case you want to apply for a used or new car loan, you want to do some research on this topic first. There are different interest rates, your credit history or credit report and several other topics to gain knowledge about before applying for a car loan.
Be sure to apply for an auto loan that you can pay back. Nothing is worse then giving your new car to the bank just because you were not able to pay the monthly interest rates. You can use several loan calculators to figure out the amount of loan you can afford. Use one of the big finance companies, online loan companies or banks to apply for a car loan. Don’t go for those offers that sound like they just can’t be true. In most cases they aren’t and you will
end up in dept.
