Should I cancel or postpone a job interview for Monday due to car problems?
Monday, December 1st, 2003e j asked:
The electric window on my jeep is unable to go up and there is no car service shop open here on a Saturday afternoon. So I have an open driver’s side window that is unable to close due to some kind of circuit problem. I am scared that someone would try to carjack my jeep or throw some kind of liquid substance if I drive and park it somewhere. Yet I have a very important job interview on Monday and I am desperate for work. I’ve got bills stacking up and I feel like James Evans on Good Times when he would try to rise up only to be put back down and have a promising job opportunity close. What should I do? Would HR pass on me? Should I cancel or postpone? Would this be a strike against me in the interview process?
