I purchased a New Bright Ferrari F430 Radio Controlled car over the weekend, and I have been having problems with it.

I started charging the battery and got impatient – took it off after 1 hour and tried to see if the car would work (I was going out for the night, so I wasn’t going to be able to play with it until the next day). The car only moved in a couple of weak spurts, but I figured that was because the battery was not charged. I put the battery back on the charger over night.

Next day, I can’t get the car to work at all. The batter was on the charger for 20 hours or so, and nothing happened. I can’t tell if the batter is loose in the holder (sometimes it looks as if the terminals don’t match up). I have it on the right band (there are 4 choices) – both the car and the controller match. (I tried all 4 bands with no success.) I’ve checked everything I can think of – car turned on, batteries in the controller, etc.

Anyone have any ideas before I take it back to the store?
