I got quite a problem concerning a car, can someone help?

I am a texas resident.Okay i bought a car from an old guy who wasn’t going to use it anymore beause he was going to move to mexico. But he left without giving me any of the paperwork (title, registration or anything) i guess he forgot. Is there any possible way that i can get a licence plate and those stickers on the side without any of the paperwork. PLEASE HELP I REALLY NEED THIS CAR!

   Nope.

   You were supposed to get all that from him when you bought the car. At the moment you can not even prove that you ever bought it.

   You’ll have to get some paper work. maybe you could contact his family if they are still in Texas.

   The only other option is to file for a Title Bond. (Much More Expensive) You can find out how to do that from the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles Web site.

   You have his address correct. check with the Post Office and get his forwarding address. Then request the paperwork from him. Then again are you sure it was his car to sell? Might be one of the reasons he left the country.
